SERVICES

Our company manufactures blanks and parts from cast iron

The range includes both gray cast iron and ductile iron with spherical graphite.

Our production conforms to norms and standards regulated by GOST 7293-85 and ST SEV 4560-84. More information about the features of steel grades can be obtained from our specialists.

We accept orders for manufacturing of non-standard parts according to the drawings, casting blanks of complex configuration. We are engaged in production of non-standard alloys and alloys on the provided chemical composition. We provide organized delivery to transport companies.

Cast iron with spherical graphite

Cast iron with spherical graphite is a cast iron with graphite inclusions having a spherical shape in its structure. It belongs to the type of high-strength cast iron. Due to the content of graphite, it has a solid metal shape, which characterizes the density of cast iron.

The spherical shape of graphite in ductile iron with spherical graphite  has a complex of high mechanical properties:

  • ultimate strength;
  • toughness;
  • yield strength;
  • relative elongation.

Due to the high carbon content in the composition of products made of  ductile iron with spherical graphite , they are characterized by the feature qualities possessed by metal products of all types:

  • strength;
  • suitable for casting;
  • long term;
  • easily machined.

Our production conforms to norms and standards regulated by GOST 7293-85 and ST SEV 4560-84. More information about the features of a particular steel grade can be obtained from our specialists.

Grey cast iron

Gray cast iron is an alloy of iron with carbon, which is formed in the form of flake or plate inclusions when the metal is cooled. The carbon content of the alloy exceeds 2.14%, which is higher than normal solubility. This is the difference between alloy and steel containing completely dissolved carbon without of particular inclusions, the structure of which defines them as graphite.

Gray iron is the basis of iron and steel industry, because it is obtained as a result of the reduction of iron ores with the help of carbon fuel (coke). As a result, in addition to the chemical reaction of reduction of iron oxides, the alloy is additionally saturated with free carbon.

The high carbon content in the free state determines the mechanical properties of gray cast iron. One of the main qualities that allow the use of gray cast iron not only as a raw material, is its high casting quality and low shrinkage during solidification. The molten metal has a high fluidity, so it is possible to perform castings of complex shape.
